The Extension applies custom visual CSS filters and SVG overlays to webpages to simulate the aesthetic of retro CTR monitors and older display technology. This is achieved entirely client-side within your browser.
The Extension is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Extension's reliability, correct operation on all websites (some sites may become unreadable due to heavy visual CSS manipulation), or compatibility with other extensions. You acknowledge that applying heavy stylistic changes to web architecture involves inherent visual risks to legibility.
In no event shall the developer be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of data, loss of business, or visual discomfort resulting from your use of the Extension. The visual effects generated by this extension simulate flickering, scanlines, and screen shaking which may not be suitable for all users. If you have photosensitive conditions, use the Extension at your own risk.
The design, code, and concept of the CRT Retro Effect extension are the property of its developer. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our services or included software without prior written permission.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Extension at any time without notice. You can terminate these Terms at any time by uninstalling the Extension and ceasing to use it.
